Markus Alexander

Markus Alexander is the Founder and Director of WAO. Markus has been facilitating workshops internationally in art-based intervention since 1985 in New York and has worked with students from 22 countries. He is on the faculty at the European Graduate School in Switzerland as well as St. Stephen's College in Edmonton.

Markus Alexander holds both a Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Therapy, Lesley University, Massachusetts, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies with the European Graduate School. He is currently a PhD Candidate, a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist, and a former board member, for the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association.
